Current gadgets include:
- Waterproof iPod and excellent headphones, both from lovely folks at WaterFi in the US
- GPS Cycle MapMyRide App for iPhone
- Cadence and speed sensor for the bicycle from Wahoo.
- iPhone locked to bicycle with the truly amazingly good Quadlock
- GPS Sports Watch from Nike+ – which I have had a while but haven’t been using. Hoping to use the pedometer item on it whilst I think about getting a purpose built one. Otherwise toying with getting the FuelBand instead / as well.
- Withings wifi and bluetooth scales (or Body Analyser as they have it…) is the latest addition. Only annoyance there is the lack of sync options with many of the above. Hoping they’ll improve quickly as I feel disinclined to use more than one app to monitor all this stuff. Seems they currently favour RunKeeper which I always despised.
